Recently, we traded our desks, case files and deadlines for sails, sunshine and the Alte Donau.

Together, we spent a summer afternoon learning the basics of sailing, with plenty of curiosity, a few unexpected manoeuvres and, most importantly, a lot of laughter along the way. It turns out that many of the qualities we rely on in our daily work also matter on the water: communication, trust, good judgment and the ability to adapt when the wind changes its direction.

More than anything, it was a chance to slow down, enjoy each other’s company and recharge away from the everyday pace of the office.
