Eugenia Mocanu is the Head of the Marketing Department at KNOETZL, where she leads the firm’s marketing, communications, and business development team. With a background spanning law, international organizations, and legal marketing, she is uniquely suited to understand KNOETZL’s dynamic practice from both high altitude and “in the weeds” perspectives.

Eugenia began her international arbitration career at other leading firms in Vienna, and performed legal academic research at the University of Graz. Her international law background was also enhanced through work at leading intergovernmental organizations, such as UNODC, OSCE, CTBTO, and IOM.

Eugenia holds a law degree from Moldova State University and an LL.M. from the University of Graz, Austria, containing a visiting student program at the University of Tartu.

At KNOETZL, Eugenia leads initiatives that promote the firm’s myriad and deep expertise, enhance client relationships, and strengthen its domestic and international presence.
